Of course it's possible. Guy is clearly crazy, so he — like you, Michael Beschloss — might not be able to grok the difference between self-defense and murder.

But the area in question is pretty close to Wisconsin to begin with, so a reasonable mind probably wouldn't come to that conclusion without having any evidence to suggest it.
