Dresden was appropriate, given the total war being waged by the Germans, to say nothing of their approach to the Jewish Question. And why feel guilty for the Japanese civilians vaporized by the A-bomb or the Japanese Americans put in camps? I suppose the Rape of Nanking and the forced labor/starvation/torture of POWs was just ducky.
America bashers like to trot out these examples to shit on our WWII war effort. We have enough to be righteously ashamed about, like what we did to Vietnam and every war we've been forced into since then by deranged Presidents and their CIA managers.
I've often fantasized what the world might have looked like had the Nazis won WWII. I've never encountered anyone who actually wishes they had.
I imagine it would be quite chaotic, given the impossibility of colonizing North America without some serious bloodletting.
And why assume that culture under a world-dominant Germany would have evolved to turn out more humane and rational than the one we're suffering under at the moment?
