The "FAIL" license plate on the electric car really sells it
I like how people say "hey bruh, electric car starts saving you on gas from 200,000 miles on!". Ignoring the fact that they had to pay in advance for 200,000 miles of gas. Like anyone can just poney up 200,000 miles worth of gas in one go.
There's a million and one things EV-tards ignore. In this case it's also the fact that the battery won't last 200k miles (and the rest of the car won't either but that's not an EV-specific issue), and a new one, if it's even still available in 8-10 years when you need it, will cost several times more than the remaining value of the rest of the car, and buying it will push the day where you'll finally start getting a return on investment to about 300k+ miles. Oh and go ahead and buy a cheaper refurbished battery instead of a new one, I dare you.
Who could possibly mind driving around on a fire hazard so difficult to extinguish that it makes the Pinto look like a sunburn? I'm now hoping that Ford brings back the Pinto nameplate for an EV and then it lives up to that name again.
