Are you aware that the UK is effectively a two party state and Labour went further left under Michael Foot after defeat in the General Election?
Of course she'd win, she's against the party that crippled the country, that shifted further towards communism after losing.
There's a reason that Tony Blair called his government "New Labour". Any link to the old Labour was instant defeat in the election. The government stayed Conservative even after Thatcher was ousted, the torch being passed to John Major. It took nearly 20 years for people to forget the Winter of Discontent enough to vote Labour again.
The rise of Thatcher was caused by the opposite side being full-blown communists.
They'd vote for anything over yet more union tyranny.
LOL. Union tyranny is not communism, communist states did not allow unions.
Anything else?

This is why Thatcher won. No other reason.
And then she won every election afterwards because... people hate women and no one wants those Nazi gender members in charge.
