Gotta say, I've been in these circles for a while and I've pretty much never seen any of these "base" guys. Do they actually exist or are they like patriot front, just another conjuring from the khakis and Ray-Bans brigade?

Patriot Front definitely exists. They glow, but they exist. I've never seen anything substantiate the existence of The Base.
