Honestly, it's just sad.

It wouldn't surprise me if this person used to be at least almost completely normal.

This is, at least in my opinion, most likely the result of making shit up to fit in, and roleplaying it so long you actually start to merge with your made up bullshit.

These people are causing their own mental illnesses, to fit in with all the other people who are causing their own mental illnesses.
