Because similar massive organizations have gone swimmingly.
It sounds great and based in theory, but I'm gonna have to pass. Ideological common ground? Sure. Literally a flag? Miss me with that disaster, thanks.
It went pretty fucking swimmingly for about 200 years, until two back-to-back world wars bankrupted it, and more importantly, made its people weary of war, where they had never been weary before.
I suppose the one silver lining of all the anglo nations being rife with globohomo marxists is that they might be able reunify.
Sadly, they will be reunifying in the name of faggotry.
Also, I think people should be weary, or at least wary, of war. Furthermore, I think more local governance will almost always be better. A massive empire will never be able to care about people in location X as much as the people of location X can. Especially nowadays. If such a system was possible, it's certainly not in our current paradigm. So there are a ton of issues that need to be solved before more consolidation of power, were we to go that route, or it will just make things worse, not better.
As you say, the globalist Marxists are everywhere. I find it funny how Marxists go on about how Marxism is a "moneyless, stateless society," when Marx himself thought central banking and a strong State were excellent tools toward his ends. If Marxists weren't morons, we wouldn't have a lot of the problems we do.

What flag were they under for 200 years?
