With all the protesting going on, do you think this will be another summer of love, or will people be fed up with it and push back? Just like the Floyd protests, they have the backing of the media and of course there is no hand wringing or pearl clutching about the "insurrection" at the Arizona capitol building. Thankfully in my part of Texas it has been quiet and peaceful but I feel sorry for those whose lives are being disrupted by a bunch of crybabies and thugs.
My dad used to tell me two things that annoyed me at the time but as I got older I learned to appreciate. Life isn't always fair and The world owes you nothing. As Clarence Thomas said, the court doesn't exist to tell you what you want to hear. Abortion is a state matter. If you are so bothered by the ruling then by all means move to a state that is liberal on abortion. I'm also confused because so many are acting like there is nothing that can be done to prevent or reduce the risk of pregnancy, or maybe men and women can use a bit more discretion when it comes to who they sleep with.
I just worry that we have an entire generation that has been encouraged to become violent when they don't get their way about something and the elites and media will egg them on from the safety of their gated communities.
I remember when Jan 6 happened my left wing cousins wouldn't let me hear the end of it. I simply told them that those who broke the law should be punished (didn't know at the time they would be held indefinitely) but they had no room to talk since they didn't say a peep about the Floyd riots and some even used the idiotic reasoning of "they have insurance" or "its about civil rights".
My biggest fear is one of the justices will be physically attacked and the media will bend over backwards to justify it.
What do you think? Are we in for another summer of love?
Not on the same scale, no. Last time around, an awful lot of very dark money went into logistical support: Transport, communications, equipment, lodging, food & drink, etc.
It was a destabilization/demoralization campaign. I don't think there's the same interest this time around, because it can only hurt the reigning regime.
True. Although I though the Floyd riots would hurt Dems
In reality, they did. Hence why Donald Trump had the highest amount of valid votes of all time.
He just couldn't beat the "Most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics".
