He cited article I, Section 10, of the Florida Constitution.

No bill of attainder, ex post facto law or law impairing the obligation of contracts shall be passed

I'm glad they finally admitted marriage is a piss-poor business contract.

That means it should be subject to contract and business law, which would invalidate all marriages instantly based on the fact that there is no punishment for the party that breaks the contract.
