But if it's a self solving problem then why didn't the problem solve itself after decades of freely available abortions?

That's my stance. Allowing the left to normalise their contempt for innocent life makes leftists worse. Even if their own children bear the brunt of that evil ideology, they've got more than enough to go around for everyone else.
