That's a wide net you're casting. Contrary to popular belief on this site, the majority of pride goers are not child molesters or pedos. There just happens to be a large minority of pedos hiding among them, and most of the pride npcs don't believe there are pedos amongst them, or that there is a pedo agenda.

They do believe, at some level, that the world is out to kill them because they like butts or want to cut off their penis or whatever. Shit like this reinforces that belief and will cause them to willfully ignore the terrible shit going on in their community, if it means they can be "safe". So much that they don't see anything sexual about kids in drag shows or strip clubs.
