The ones with the cognitive ability to use these terms get so bogged down in how they're completely set apart from almost everyone else they completely forestall any actual attempt at successfully integrating into wider society. If their autism-advocacy groups hadn't been coopted by the wokists they'd maybe have the sense to understand why research into ASDs helps them out in the long-term.
