Now that we are in an election year, Bolsonaro put his autistic son back in charge of his social media and things are getting saucy again. He's a pretty weak president, but at least he's good for that kind of stuff. I've had leftist American friends ask me if don't think the Amazon should protected because it's "an environmental issue that concerns the world". The same kind of people that supposedly are against imperialism and the oppression of the poor. Anyway the sad truth is that Bolsonaro can be great with Twitter zingers, but if pressured, he'll cave in on this issue.
