I used to be an edgelord atheist, not enough to fucking larp as a satanist or anything, but enough to have gotten an ironic "Live Evil" tattoo that I'd get rid of if I had the money to. And while I still don't believe in souls or an afterlife or deities or anything, I agree that all this cheeky nihilism is having a compounding effect on our culture and the people running these things aren't being upfront in what they really believe. Because even though I don't believe in the devil, I absolutley believe that devil worshipers exist, and whether or not the devil is real, their actions have real consequences.
