I've been wondering what sorts of rich people actually live in SF proper. I don't mean the 10 college students or Mexican national restaurant workers sharing a 2-bedroom roach-infested apartment in the Fillmore, but people with the $ to buy a house or condo or rent an apartment in the city, the Nob Hill types.

My guess is this group consists of people rich enough to afford more than one residence in different cities, making SF a sort of weekend flop and avoiding the daily horrorshow that is SF in 2022. People with that sort of dough can insulate themselves from the street pretty well.
