Regular 87 octane is now officially over $5/gallon here in NJ.
It's only been a year and a half and they've already made it nearly impossible to live here. Everything is more expensive, and now I have to pull double shifts just to break even.
Not only that, but they're making it impossible to do the one thing I liked doing to take my mind off of things: driving my little sports car. It is now going to cost $50 to fill up the tiny little 10 gallon tank it has.
Fuck Biden.
Fuck Democrats.
Fuck Liberals.
Fuck all of them.
The last major oil refinery was built in the 1970s. All expansion of capacity since then has been expansions and upgrades. Environmental law is what stands in the way of new refineries, and Biden's EPA is owned lock, stock and barrel by the watermelon environmental lobby.
Regulatory burden is what is mostly causing the energy crunch, not limiting supply. During Trump regulations were slashed due to a remove 3 per every one new one policy, while under Biden they have been introduced at a record pace.
