Never using capital letters is a terminally online Twitter thing. It's supposed to signal how apathetic and above it all you are. Remember Gen X, and how their teenage identity was "too cool to put any effort into anything"? It's the same thing.

It rings hollow, however, when you simultaneously signal your apathy and scream about Nazis coming to kill you. Doubly so when it's an adult doing it. Teenagers are expected to make transparent bids to seem "cool". Adults should know better.
