It does bother me that people can’t recognize this shit for what it is: a political and cultural system masquerading as a religion in order to take advantage of our laws. If your religion demands super disruptive noise pollution five times a day, death for apostasy, and terrorism in response to any depictions of your holy figure, then your religion is not compatible with western civilization. Calling out this obvious reality isn’t a hate crime. Ignoring their disregard for our cultural norms is the hate crime.
