I think there is some merit to the idea that she actually is abusing women's privilege, and women actually notice that, and are throwing her under the bus because an abuse of that privilege is a threat to all women.
It's like: there's a reason that (despite all the screeching) men adopting the Pence Rule is very bad for women. It basically inoculates men from the influence of women outside of marriage. Feminine wiles go a long way (frankly, a disturbingly long way, it's like men can be straight up hypnotized), but if all men universally consider all feminine attraction outside of wed-lock to be a threat; that power & influence fucking vanishes.
