They're not "faction", they're the government, and every government should be "extremely pro" their own country by default.
The "extremely nationalist, pro Ukraine" (do you actually think the Ukrainian government should be anti-Ukraine?) government was elected and is widely (overwhelmingly) supported.
Meanwhile for example the people's sympathy for Russian people (not even for Russian government) fell to just 2 percent (within the statistical error range), down from overwhelming (absolute majority) positive feelings back before 2014. It's just mutual hatred between the two nations now. Like between the "fraternal" Serbs and Croats (and the Bosnians also using the shared Serbo-Croat language) during the 1990s, after the so celebrated "brotherhood of Yugoslav nations" under Comrade Tito.
Did you just describe the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry as "The extremely pro Ukraine factions"?

And the Ukrainians have literally nothing against Asians. They even like the Chicoms, more so than we in Poland, and twice more than the Czechs for example, and much more than the global median - with least dislike among ALL the countries polled, including Russia (https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2019/12/05/people-around-the-globe-are-divided-in-their-opinions-of-china/).
That was before Covid, of course.
Not "disputed", but occupied.
Hey, remember when Putin lied to you about how his soldiers taking over Crimea were not his soldiers at all?
The "faction" back then was not extreme enough to resist the invasion of their country, apparently.
