It's a (((strange))) thing, but the western world seems to have forgotten that everything humans have ultimately comes down to force. Since the Euros have outsourced their defense (force), they've effectively outsourced their sovereignty.
We've all done the same thing -- that's why if I don't wear a mask I can be beaten up and/or killed...
Since the Euros have outsourced their defense (force), they've effectively outsourced their sovereignty.
But no one has called them on it. So they are just allowed to try to keep dictating to everyone else in the world how things should be done, despite being propped up by the military power of people they're trying to dictate to. Maybe some day the chickens will come home to roost, but so far the whole 'outsourcing their defense' thing has actually worked out pretty well for them, sadly. Much better than it had any right to work.
It's not stupid. It's just a little bit over the top.
I prefer my own opinion about it.
Obviously. If you preferred their opinion, you'd switch yours to theirs, so not much point in voicing something self-evident.

Excuse me?
Ok. Then I'll go with the comment was stupid. Not just a little over the top. It was flat out stupid.
