Not really. It's followong the same (now) formulaic storyline of every other Disney+ show, which puts a strong male as the title to draw in foolish viewers, but cucks the male character, and brings in strong female characters who are better than him at everything, who can do no wrong, and have no imperfections. The female ends up being the hero of the show. It's absolutely shit story telling and manipulative marketing mixed with all manner of woke bullshit.
Isn't even exclusive to Disney, as we've seen with Netflix with He-man and Paramount+ with Halo. I've pretty much come to expect every single show/movie that is about a popular franchise to do this exact same thing.
If not for the clear motivation behind it I might agree with you. It's very lore friendly for jedi to choose diplomacy as a rule
However it contradicts what we later see from obiwan who had stopped believing former Jedi like Anakin, who was effectively his brother-son, could be talked down at all
I don't care, it can even be good but I do not plan to watch a show named Obi-Wan that focuses on some diversity hire
