all this "muh poor victims of big bad Russia" is simplifying and whitewashing a lot of their bad parts.

And the reason they're doing that is because Ukraine had an all male draft.

Never forget, literally days before the war, women were no longer subjected to the draft. A day after Zelensky received his money from the ECB.
