In part, Pennsylvania Republicans will be choosing between someone like Ms. Barnette, whose candidacy is focused on her (extreme and somewhat terrifying) beliefs and someone like Dr. Oz, whose candidacy is all about his personal fame — and his dependence on M7r. Trump.
And now one of their "news" pieces:
Ms. Barnette — a hard-right conservative locked in a seven-way Republican primary
She opposes gun control and abortion rights and proposes limiting the federal government’s involvement in the health care industry. She has ridiculed the Muslim faith in online posts and promotes Mr. Trump’s lie that the 2020 election was stolen. In a 2010 essay, published online by the Canada Free Press, she argued that the gay rights movement — which she called “immoral and perverse” — sought “domination” and should be thwarted, citing the Bible as justification.
“Make no mistake about it, homosexuality is a targeted group in the Bible, right along with cheats, drunkards, liars, foul-mouths, extortionists, robbers, and any other habitual sin,” she wrote.
Ms. Barnette has a history of incendiary remarks, including repeatedly calling former President Barack Obama an adherent of Islam, which she said should be banned, and derisively writing about “the homosexual agenda.”
I find it hilarious to see how “unbiased” these articles are
I can agree with that. MSNBC and CNN will maintain they are neutral. Some on fox admit their bias
i love these media hits on her. they make her look super based.
I find no fault at all with her positions on homosexuality. It's a statement of fact that the Bible condemns homoseexuality, same as those other enumerated sins.
I do find her opinion on abortion questionable if understandable, and I also question her electability.
But it's obvious what the NYT is trying to do here.
kek, not under her circumstances.
she is going to be running against a DEMOCRAT. You do know this?
Not yet. Their hatred for any black or other non-white who isn't 100% in line with their agenda is far greater than for whites though.
I, too, remember Larry Elder's candidacy in California.
