Right click the search bar, go to search, unselect "show highlights"

Took me ten minutes to figure out there was a hidden setting doing that bullshit that got enabled with the last update. Shut that shit down once I found it.

Shit like this is why Microsoft has lost me as a customer. My next machine will be Linux, rather than windows 11.
