My guess is the CEO realized after that little stunt that game companies are better off shutting the fuck up and making games instead of preaching.
That's not limited to gaming, of course. I mean, I get why companies do it, or, why companies think that it's a good idea.
What I really don't understand is, why people think any of this virtue-signaling bs is anything more than either paid (when BlackRock et al are involved) propaganda or a marketing-stunt. Why would you ever think of a billion dollar company as a moral entity?
