One in which every individual is free to make decisions concerning his or her health and body, or one in which half the population is free and the other half is enslaved?
I agree entirely. Men are forced to work, sometimes in very dangerous conditions, risking health and body but even in "mild" work, to pay for child support and/or ex-spousal support payments. And they will not have freedom, literally enslaved in that if they do not work despite not wanting to, they will be put into prison. This is the default of courts, a well-studied and well-known bias amongst even the most fervent of intersectionalists, but no one wants to address the issue. Truly, Atwood is based.
Oh wait, she's just projecting her sexual Handmaids kinks on us, nevermind.
