I’m a very idealistic person and I tend to want to believe the best in everyone. I realize that isn’t very smart so I guess that was what caused me to say that

Not every religion teaches followers to love thy neighbor. Some religions teach followers to dominate outsiders, while others teach that outsiders are subhuman cattle.
