It’s my understanding that adults are supposed to have to be thoroughly vetted on a “case-by-case basis” wrt actually having gender dysphoria before they’re approved for surgery.

This comes off as a lie of omission to make it sound like children are somehow more thoroughly scrutinized before approving surgery.
