That tag ran out of steam really quickly. It's amazing that the current trending tag actually changes every few hours and there is no stupid caption/highlight below it editorializing it like Twitter always did before. I've seen it go through several tags in the past 10 hours.
I know you guys probably think it's editorialized, but I think the reason why that tag is trending is because Twitter leftists are spamming that tag with the article.
In other words, for once the trending algorithm is working the way it should, the trending tab right now says #RoeVWade and Supreme Court with that article and confirmation from Justice Roberts.
I don't see any kind of left wing bias in the tag - I've seen right wing tags pop up related to this as well.
This is the first ultra-political issue that's happened after Elon Musk's proposed buyout and it's fucking bizarre. I see a 50/50 distribution of people throwing potshots at each other, it's amazing.
