I think it's become so normal for pros to Photoshop the shit out of regular portraits. Years ago I was good friends with a photographer back when digital was really new and he didn't retouch much and it didn't seem common then. I've seen some more recent ones that look almost 3D modeled people. They all smooth the shit out of faces now.
