They are a private company and can do what ever they want.
I am so sick of hearing this prefabricated response to corporate censorship. "They can do what they want" is obviously too broad a statement and appears to justify/rationalize all sorts of corporate criminality and evil. At least come up with a more nuanced and less trite statement like "corporations aren't obliged to follow the spirit of the Constitution on free speech" or something.
The major communication platforms are being pressured by the Animated Corpse administration to do their censoring for them, to join in a Fascist partnership to control public discourse, and Facebook/Google/Twitter have been very willing to comply (especially Mark Cuckerberg) because they share the same totalitarian political orientation and social engineering goals.
