Why pay the hundreds of thousands to convict and house a robber for a few years, who statistically is overwhelming likely to commit more crime after their sentence, when bullets are cheap and one has the right of war catching them in the act?
I see, I overlooked that. It frustrates me that there are productive members of society who struggle with food meanwhile literal subhumans get meals daily that tax payers provide.
And since they'll undoubtedly recommit, the non monetary costs on the public when they get attacked, raped, lose a love one, trauma, therapy, surgery, etc. The human toll is great too and often gets ignored.
Unfortunately, good hollow points aren't cheap, especially these days. Still, a few bucks worth of ammo to put down a shitbag who doesn't deserve the air they breathe is fair to me.
