people been coming out as rainbows for last 3-5+ years.. why do people still make it a big ass deal? lol. hell, if polls say 30% of people are LGBT, then they not that special anymore.

Power and social status. It's not that it confers new or higher status, but that remaining normal makes you part of the lesser class.
