But she was a strong woman type, Ashly is a normal teenager put in an extreme situation. It allows for the incredible evil of flirting with a strong male hero. I think the left is seething just at the idea that the main protagonist has to rescue a girl they were not about to let it go further and allow her to act like a normal girl.
