their centralized censorship power is crucial to advancing U.S. foreign policy.
Thanks for confirming that I have been completely right to view silicon valley censorship as soft US Imperialism that it happily wields against its own allies as well as its enemies.
you mean communism? funny communists killed way more people and ruled as totalitarian propaganda states much longer than any fascist states ever did, yet the analogy people always bring up is muh fascists.
Because fascism is corporatism by other means. Truthfully what we have is neither 100% fascism or communism but it has elements of both. I would say it's closer to fascism. Fascism might be better though, since we the people would have some direct say over what the corpos did. Right now the systems of control are obscured by layers of bureaucracy.

It's complicated, but it appears to be Russian and Qatari imperialism that the UK wields against the US.

I'm not sure that the likes of Google, Amazon and Apple even recognise allies or simply view them as more easily-exploited resources.
I'm not sure the US government feels any differently.
More like Fascism. The media/USG/corporate collusion to control communications and everything else is textbook fascism.

It's not an analogy. It's actual, real-time Fascism in action.

Got a genuine chuckle, because there are people who legitimately believe this.
