Gotcha. There is a constant push for them but I know studies have shown that women are generally interested in different things. For instance, I didn’t have a male teacher til I was in middle school.
Jorden Peterson mentioned that countries that worked to remove societal requirements for men/women, like Sweden have a much bigger gender difference then countries that have not done so.
Poorer countries will have more women in STEM then richer more progressive countries. This implies that when a country is rich and you allow men and women to chose what field to work in you will get more women in education and nurses and more men in STEM.
I guess another example is the one that makes me laugh. Why isn’t there a push for women in sanitation departments? I mean sanitation workers are male dominated and I’m taught that is a bad thing
