The absolute saddest thing I've ever learned is that the best way to deal with Leftists, because they are either predatory authoritarian narcissists, or Useful Idiot slaves, is to just cuck them.
They will never learn because they are authoritarians who will literally burn down all of human civilization so that they can have the power a wear a hall-monitor sash conveys, and/or be told they were a good boy. They have abandoned the necessary moral agency to introspect, and have given it to a predator who happily tells them whether or not they've done good.
This is something that people on the right, who are stupidly black-pilled all the time, don't realize. A) They don't think like you because of their slave mentality. B) None of the 'principles' they have exist and they will turn on their own positions when given permission to do it. When they make a mistake, it's either someone else's fault, an abstract concept's fault, or literally no one on Earth could have seen it coming.
But honestly, the best way to engage with them is to either blow right past them because you don't need to slow down to deal with them, or to grab them by the scruff of their neck and tell them that you are in charge now. Yes, you should be worried about some that will subvert you, but I think most will simply acquiesce to your authority, legitimate or otherwise. As slaves, they want strong masters, which is why they literally fetishize tyrants like Cuomo and Xi, and even privately fetishize their straw-versions of Trump supporters.
It's embarrassing that they are like this, but they don't know how to be free. We can't actually build a civilization only doing that because you're still left with a civilization of slaves and cucks (which is why right-wing authoritarianism will only lead to left-wing authoritarianism).
In the end, Leftists have to basically be cultivated away from dependency, and given the skills to develop long-term time preference, and that is the only way we can actually recover western civilization.
