Which is funny because to the extent there were shenanigans in the 2000 election they always seemed to be on the part of the Dems: dimpled chads and hanging chads and late mail-in ballots and endless recounts that always seemed to come up with a few extra hundred votes for Gore.

What in retrospect seems to obviously have happened in that election is they tried the same bullshit they always do, except that one time it didn't work.
