The Shitpost will run editorials similar to this leading up to the midterms so they can point to them and say they are being "balanced." They are attempting to memory-hole their 4-year campaign of mealymouthed lies printed in their part of the effort to unseat Trump and cover their trail of diarrhea with the thin sawdust of similar opinion pieces.
