There are many stories of reformed homosexuals but they get buried for being wrong think. Recently I listened to the story of Josh Christmas who (in summary) didn't have his father in his life and had no male friends/peers, so he basically got all mixed up. But he went on to have a family and died recently from a brain hemorrhage (RIP). Testimony here, it was eye-opening for me because I've been very angry towards the rainbow crowd for what they're doing to society but this helped me have another, more compassionate perspective https://youtu.be/wnTY8szGcVE
Reminiscent of teens not liking their body changes from puberty, or Autists being coerced, or porn-sick males getting autogynophylia and then go trans. Then let's not forget the Munchausen moms and their poor little boys. I'm seriously doubting "born this way".
Yea as a Christian I have to remind myself to show compassion and love. It is easy to get angry because it is pushes on society a lot but we have to speak truth with love.
Yes, I struggle with this a lot. As a parent, I feel like the world I grew up in is gone and it makes me sad for my kids. My first reaction is to think that certain groups are to blame, then I become angry, when in reality we are all victims of sin and the consequences of living in a fallen world that rejects Christ. "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." Matthew 24:12. But we have a Saviour. If Saul, Nebukaneezer, and the people of Ninevah can be redeemed, there is hope for us all.
