Seattle is hipster and Amazon Warrior Princess insanity. This is Vashon island insanity. It has more lesbians per Capita than anywhere else in the world. I'm sure it's even more insane now.

The retreat takes kids out to the woods so they can commune with nature in a very structured and controlled way. Another famous version is Anasazi in the southwest. They named a camp after a haunted ruins, and spread crystal knowledge.
