Hormones are expensive, as far as I know it is not actual hormons they are feading chickens. The food is designed to speed up their natural growth, you eat them younger then you normally would. So you get in fact a large dose of chicken hormons that the chicken will natural produce. You get extra homons from eating chicken but they are not feeding hormons to chickens.
