I'm pretty sure if you went by dating preferences/outcomes, and corrected for how the definition of LGBT has broadened over the years, the needle would have barely ticked up from nominal values. 90% of the culture war is redefinition of terms and dishonestly re-framing arguments so that they 'win' the 'debate' by default.
