The biggest difference is that this happened at a track meet in full view of everyone, in the middle of a race. This wasn't recess, between classes, or even in class. This was pretty much a public event. And the kid was brazen (or stupid) enough to ignore that and immediately go to "he disrespected me"
At the very least the kid's coach would have been on the field and should have reigned him in before it happened.
Black was asked to move, didn’t, got aggressive, & then attacked the person that asked. Totally not stereotypical behavior at all. No siree.
