I take it you've never read the Shadow Over Innsmouth? It's pretty good.

Lol it does look a lot like the fish people. Pretty similar their appearance in Call of Cthulu too. (Decent albeit buggy early 2000s vidya adaptation of Shadow Over Innsmouth)
