I think the war being fought is globalism vs globalization. One is our ability to do trade with each other, or to sail the high seas and destroy the basis of products in the traditional way. The other is a one world government that will restrict everyone to their areas for the betterment of those who created globalism.
The companies and governments are using globalization as an excuse to create globalism. I can write a whole book using whatever computer or phone I want because of Google docs. I can share that document with others, with no money or need to worry. Google wants to use that to find a way to control me and you. It's where the idea of you own nothing comes to be. The globalists think they will rule over that, and have created the narrative of how that will happen.
If countries lock up and close borders, globalism will have difficulties, but globalization itself will prosper. The high seas are open to everyone, and memes are posted to all. Locking up everything is a fall back for globalists because they still have power and can move from place to place. They think they'll win no matter what. This is part of the narrative.
To them, all culture and popularity will be given out. You like this because we said it was popular. You consider this cultural, because we said so.
But memes and globalization ignores that. It destroys those industries, and narratives. They can't pound the war drums have people running to their amusement. The actual war is in our minds and how we view ourselves. It's a choice, and a hard one when globalization has no narrative and theme like globalism does.
