Like most Americans, I was pretty amped after 9/11. Then the US government decided to invade a completely unrelated country for no reason. I was off the bandwagon immediately.

Fast forward to today: short of a foreign army on American soil, I’m not sure anything could get me to support US involvement in a foreign war.

Iraq had oil. Iraq was competition for Saudi Arabia. It wasn't no reason, so much as no reason that benefited anyone other than the leaders.
