I never watched G4 as I guess I'd outgrown it already by the time it was in it's glory days. Still, the same argument I've used a lot in the last few years applies. If something I'm spending time or money on as an entertainment product ceases to be fun or entertaining, then it has no value and gets tossed.
And they didn't even know what to advertise, either.
Doritos and Mountain Dew? They were always an embarassment. It's just that before gaming youtubers got big, there was literally nothing else.
