More slamming the brakes on the industry's hot takes, from Scrivonaut and Norayla on Splash Damage:
The developer of Lost Ark has added less-revealing outfits to the game after complaints the female outfits are too sexy, but this hasn’t stopped GameDevelopment.com from demanding the game go farther and cater Lost Ark only to Western audiences. We discuss this puritanical argument along with GameSpot’s old article about bra sizes, Elden Ring’s tendency to not hold players’ hands, awful takes on race in Amazon’s Lord of the Rings TV series, and more.

Hey Amazon:
Your "woke" western MMO was a colossal flop.
The millions of people playing Lost Ark say it's good.
The ten people who want it to be just like your prior MMO (which was a colossal flop) say it's bad and you should change it to be just like your flop.
For what its worth, Amazon, if you remove the Korean outfits and erase the diverse influence and culture of Korea from the game to put in White Nationalist tastes (in that they're white tastes claiming to represent the nation), then I'm going to stop playing, and stop paying. And I won't be the only one.
